The Valhalla base uses a BK117-A4 that has ben updated with dual GPS’, Satellite Tracking and a Traffic Collision Avoidance System.  The interior utilizes a forward facing seat that affords the med crew an exceptional amount of working space.  This space ship has the room and power to comfortably do the Specialty Missions with Balloon Pumps or Isolettes.

Climate Control
An enviornmental control system maintains a comfortable cabin temperature.
Electrical System
A 12 volt and 28 volt DC Electrical System, as well as a 110 volt inverter, permits the use of all medical equipment within the helicopter.
Communications Equipment
The aircraft is equipped with radios that utilize VHF Low Band (30 to 50 Mhz), High Band (148 to 174 Mhz) and UHF (450 to 470 Mhz). The radios are equipped with all 32 CTCSS Tones (Private Line (PL) or Channel Guard Tones) and an encoder to tie into hospitals. This will allow direct communications between flight personnel and communications centers, emergency personnel and hospitals.
Night Lighting
Aircraft is equipped with a pilot controlled high voltage searchlight. Additional illumination is provided by fixed mounted floodlights.
Medical Equipment
The aircraft are medically configured with sophisticated on board equipment to provide specialized airway support, cardiac pacing, and advanced physiologic patient monitoring, and expanded pharmacologic modalities.
Transport Capabilities
Aircraft is configured to transport one patient, capable of transporting an isolette or balloon pump.
